Locals Disappointed Groceries Coupons Distributed Unevenly

A number of residents claimed disappointed could not get coupon of low price groceries packet in Central Jakarta Fair, Thursday (10/12). Whereas, they had been queuing since in the morning at Central Jakarta Mayor Office's yard.

There were no coupons given to me to be distributed to residents.

Chairman of RT 12/01 Petojo Utara Urban Village, Yunda stated local residents in his area did not obtain the coupon. He only got information that there was low price groceries sell which could be exchanged only by showing ID Card.

"There were no coupons given to me to be distributed to residents. It's only a text message written that could buy low price groceries only with ID Card. But when arriving here i got nothing as it must use coupon," he stated.

West Jakarta Gives 2,100 Subsidized Food Coupons

Meanwhile, Central Jakarta Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperative Sub-Department (KUMKMP), Bangun Richard mentioned that the coupons distribution was conducted through Urban Village. There were 11 urban villages distributed and each of them got 80 coupons.

"The coupons were distributed to 11 urban villages in Sawah Besar and Gambir sub-Districts," he mentioned.
